Life can be overwhelming sometimes. Obstacles pop up and sometimes you can feel like you’re drowning. Well, I’ve got some tips for you. 5…4…3…2…1 Go!
Did you know that most negative mindsets simply result from a lack of confidence in ourselves? Primarily confidence in becoming a better person, and the fear of failure. However, you literally have everything you need to overcome everyday hurdles. You simply have to activate your inner potential!
How? Just use the 5-second rule.
You are going to realize that you are only one decision away from changing your life.
Do not overthink stuff.
By overthinking you are for the most part manifesting negativity. Your mind convinces you to quit or not take action. Honestly, our brain is pretty good at finding excuses.
Let’s first get rid of a common myth:
"Man you gotta be passionate about it. You gotta love what you do. Otherwise, quit or don’t even start!“
In a sense, this statement stops a lot of people from trying new things, and it is agreed that doing something you love to do will help you increase the output of that action and even make the output of higher quality than if you're doing something you're not passionate about.
Although, where I want to go with this... imagine how many great inventions we would have missed out on because the inventor did not even start. The moment you start to doubt yourself about a decision, you can apply the following trick.
Trick your mind by simply counting down from 5.
5…4…3…2…1 Go! No room for excuses. You are simply doing it. No overthinking.
5…4…3…2…1 Let’s publish that article.
5…4…3…2…1 I’m finishing my work.
5…4…3…2…1 let’s go for a workout.
Or the best one, when you wake up you have literally 5 seconds to get out of bed before your brain thinks, let's snooze.
Life is actually not that overwhelming if you break down many polarized beliefs you might have about good and bad, this is a concept I will introduce in later edges.
You and I simply gotta be courageous to keep on trying, this is how you proceed and differentiate yourself.
As soon as you are trying, you win. Separate your feelings from your action and simply do, without overthinking.
Remember! There is a massive graveyard of great ideas that never saw the light of day. Why? The guy with the idea did not dare to try.
Speak to you soon!
